Heute im Kurzfilm-Programm: Ein indisch-architektonisch-futuristisches Machwerk von Liam Young, basierend auf einer Kurzgeschichte von Tim Maly. Hier die Synopsis:

In a near future heavily influenced by the imminent boom of the Indian subcontinent, an emerging technology and economic superpower a new digital city has developed. The film follows a group of young children as they play a game of hide and seek (Chupan Chupai) in the bustling streets of this smart city. Through their play the children discover how to hack the city, opening up a cavernous network of hidden and forgotten spaces, behind the scenes of everyday streets.​

Matheran (Marathi: माथेरान Mātherān) ist ein Bergort (hill station) in Maharashtra, Indien, der von britischen Kolonialherren gegründet wurde. Durch die Lage auf einem kleinen Tafelberg in einer Höhe von etwa 700 Metern über dem Meer ist das Klima dort deutlich kühler als im 30 km (Luftlinie) entfernten Mumbai. Auch heutzutage genießen indische Wochenendurlauber aus Mumbai, Pune und anderen Großstädten in der Nähe das erfrischende Klima (wiki)
